CIMS

Floor Warden

·  I would just like to say that all who participated on the course were very enthusiastic about the training and all had very good things to say about it. We all appreciated the time and effort that Paul put into the day for us. Some our wardens were new so it was really good for them. The day after Paul had been here we had a trial evacuation and after the training we managed to clear our building in around three minutes. This was an achievement for us as we had a course on level 6 with one of the participants who decided she did not want to stay in the building even though she had a disability and took quite a while for her to descend the stairs. All feedback has been positive and we have changed the way we are doing things as well. During the training Paul suggested that with our 1 employee who cannot go down stairs, that the staff member and his buddy should sit in the stairwell. We did this and everyone felt quite a bit happier about it.          LW May 2010
