Our Services
We felt it worthwhile, as you begin planning for the coming year, to remind you of the services we provide. A key benefit to working with us is that we take the time to tailor our training courses and other services to your organisation and your people. We are proud to be a provider of solutions, so we take care to pay attention to the details.Â
We travel nationally and internationally with our work so if you have other offices or people in mind for training, we can provide our services wherever your organisation is located. We can also do this via teleconferencing/e-conferencing.
We work closely with Chief Executives and senior management teams in the areas of risk management and business continuity planning at a strategic level as well as working with the practitioners at the tactical levels. Once plans are in place, we work with incident management teams and response teams to ensure they are able to effectively manage the response to any incidents which may occur.Â
We plan a year ahead for a number of our clients so dates for 2011 can be planned for well in advance.  Busy rooms on-site, people's diaries plus scheduling dates and times that work for people can be planned for.Â
We deliver a range of training courses which range from several hours to several days. Our core courses are very popular, but we can also tailor these courses so we have a mix of content depending on the roles people have in your organisation.Â
For the majority of our clients we deliver ongoing training for Floor Wardens, the Rescue team and the Incident Management team working with CIMS. We extend people with new knowledge, practical hands-on experience and consolidate learning and complete follow up action points between training courses.Â
We provide a wide range of services relating to CIMS such as the training, writing and updating of plans and procedures, setting up kits for the Incident Management team, coaching selected people in key roles, developing and facilitating ongoing exercises and training, full simulations to practice a wider response and assess resiliency, presentations at Board meetings, liaison, visits and protocols with emergency services, liaising with other key organisations and developing further resiliency between organisations.Â
We can also provide short training courses for 2 - 4 people that may be new to an organisation. Short courses can be 1 - 3 hours and provide one on one interaction.Â
We deliver Working from Heights training which can include working on ladders, Earthquake Awareness, Bomb Threat training, Leadership workshops, Health and Safety audits, Health and Safety workshops for managers, Safety Culture workshops, facilitation of meetings and conference presentations.Â
We also plan and facilitate Team Building workshops which often have a rescue theme to them. These are great for any team you may work with or perhaps for a team another manager in your organisation works with - many of you have what we do on your intranet.
People new to their roles can be supported with a visit and often provided with information that shows the services we have provided their organisation in the past. This may include information from our database on who has already completed training in the past as sometimes new managers find this information is difficult to locate (or has gone altogether!). We often provide coaching to those new to Emergency Management roles.Â
We provide training and support for ACC Partnership audits.Â
We provide advice on locating emergency related equipment and facilities for those looking at plans prior to a shift to a new building, plus we deliver training for the floor wardens and rescue team. Just before people shift in is a wonderful opportunity and people rate it highly. We also provide support with Civil Defence cabinets and other equipment such as personal survival bags (Lifepacs).Â
We are now delivering Health and Safety Rep training.Â
